The unique Tinda squash melon gourd is indigenous to India. The round, light green fruit weighs only 3 to 4 ounces at harvest and looks very similar to a granny smith apple. This plant requires a long, warm growing season but will produce some of the most versatile gourds in any gardener’s arsenal.
