Similar to other varieties of Chinese celery, the light green variety delivers a distinct celery flavor and aroma. The plant does not produce ribbed, thick stalks as conventional celery but small, thin stems and leaves. The open-pollinated plant is perfect for container growing and has mild frost tolerance. Perfect for temperate climates, it is decorative and thrives under cut-and-come-again conditions. Try planting alongside cauliflower to save space and maximize nutrient use.
