I am a very small home nursery growing a variety of plants, trees, bushes, seeds and succulents. I use no pesticides and I use mostly organic growing materials. All seeds are grown by me or purchased from a reputable seeds wholesaler.

Frisse Endive

Frisse endive grows best in cool conditions. Plant grow 8-12” tall and produce fine frilly leaves of a yellow-green color. Plant seeds outside in the summer ¼” deep with plants 10-12” apart. After 55 days, leaves should reach full height and are ready to be harvested by cutting them off of plants. They have a slightly bitter but mild taste that makes them the perfect addition to a mixed greens mix. They are also excellent cooked.
