Portuguese Branco Do Ribatejo Melon

This melon is the national favorite of Portugal. Yields large oval fruits of about 6 to 8 Lbs. Has a slightly oblong, white, lightly striped rind and sweet greenish-white flesh that is strongly aromatic. Direct sow after late frost. Sow seeds half an inch deep and space plants 4 to 6 feet apart. Prefers the heat and requires frequent watering.
