Italian Dandelion Seeds

This is a tender perennial that originates from Italy and is a type of chicory or endive. Italian Dandelion, which is different from True Dandelion, are vigorous growers and entirely edible with forest-green leaves that provide savory flavor when cooked, similar to collard greens. Dried chicory root can also be added to coffee and is a popular beverage in New Orleans! Flowers in blue if allowed to fully mature.
