Sun Gold Cherry tomatoes

This very sweet, tropical, exotic-flavored, tangerine-colored tomato wins numerous taste tests in competitions. Its unique flavor give it an almost “cult” following. We have never had a more requested cherry tomato than Sun Gold! The petite 1/2 ounce, 1″ diameter fruits grow in clusters of eight to fourteen on indeterminate vines. Since they keep growing and producing until fall frost, plants should be staked or caged, but they may also be grown in containers with a little support. Tomatoes begin to ripen in only 57 days after transplanting outside. One of the premier varieties of cherry tomatoes. The Sun Gold ripens to a golden orange, with a very sweet flavor.

This tomato is popular in all climates as it produces in warm and cold conditions. Fruit matures quickly, and crops heavily throughout the warmer months.
